First Nine Week Awards Assembly

We had our first nine week assembly recently and all the kids did great! 

Our Teachers work hard to get the students to reach their maximum potential and meet all learning requirements.

October Updates 10/22

There has been a lot going on this month.

At our last PTO meeting we announced October's Students Of The Month.

Our sponsor was Piccolino's and they gave each student a gift certificate to their restaurant.

We had Book Fair from October 13th through the 17th. The turn out was fantastic! The kids were excited to have us there all week. We even had some regulars in each day! 

A big thanks to our volunteers for coming in to help and Mrs Morales for letting us invade her Library.

We are happy that some parents not only bought books for their children at home but for our Teachers! Your generous donations are appreciated!

First nine weeks Awards Assembly will be held Thursday Oct 23rd at 9am in the auditorium.

Pictures will be uploaded of our wonderful students receiving their awards in our next update.

We collected our Box Tops for the first 9 weeks. Our total was 1,307 in addition to the 623 we had when school started. Our total income should be $193.00 if all the box tops go through. 

Anyone can go to the Box Tops For Education site and sign up to help our school by entering sweepstakes and you will be able to see our goal for the year and how far we are coming along.

If each child could bring in 5 Box Tops each month we would definitely meet our goal for the year.

Every nine weeks we collect from each class. Collection bags are marked with a teacher's name and they are carefully collected and counted. The reason for this is to see which grade brought in the most Box Tops. As an incentive we will be giving out special certificates and having a reward party to the top grade. 

This first round was won by 2nd grade! They collected a total of 803 Box Tops!!

Saturday October 25th there will be a Costume Parade at 4pm and a Fall Carnival at 5pm to 7pm.

PTO and each grade will be having booths for the kids to participate in. 

We will be hosting a Cake Walk and Photo Shoot.

If anyone would like to donate cupcakes or volunteer please come on by!
